Research Quick Briefs Podcast: Texas A&M Chemistry Professor and Colleagues Studying Potential Anti-Cancer Agent

A natural product first isolated from marine sponges called pateamine A (PatA), has attracted considerable attention as a potential anti-cancer agent. Now a new activity has been found for it which may reveal yet another anti-cancer mechanism. That’s what Texas A&M University Chemistry Professor Dr. Daniel Romo, and his colleague, Professor Jun O. Liu from Johns Hopkins University, who are pioneers in research on PatA, think at this point.
