James A. Calvin is the Interim Vice President for Research for Texas A&M University.

Welcome to the Division of Research and Graduate Studies website. This site was established to provide a variety of information about research and graduate studies at Texas A&M. 

Through links to federal agencies, professional societies, commercial information sources, and other Texas A&M Web sites, both faculty and student researchers will find up-to-date information about new research opportunities, research facilities, research policies, and events that affect the climate for research at both the state and national level. 

In addition, current and prospective graduate students will find general information about Texas A&M's graduate programs, as well as tips to guide them through the many procedural steps that lead to a degree. 

We hope that this site will stimulate thinking and create synergies that contribute to the well being of Texas, the nation and the world.
