How to use IGPS for CONACyT Mexican PIs

1. Go to http://igps.tamu.edu
2. In the section labeled "Non-TAMUS User?" click the link titled "Forget your password?"
3. You will then be asked to enter the email address that you supplied to Texas A&M University last year.
4. If the address can be verified a new password will be sent to you so you can login.
5. After using this password please create a new one in by clicking "Profile" and updating the password.

2. In the section labeled "Non-TAMUS User?" click the link titled "Need an eProposal Account?"
3. You will be asked to enter information such as your first and last name and email account. Please enter all of the information.
4. Important: Your email address will be used as your username or "netid". IGPS will check to ensure this email address is not in use. If it is then you will not be able to create an account with the email address. It is highly recommended that you try to retrieve your password as shown in the prior section since it is likely you already have an account.
5. Once you are done entering your information submit the form and you will be auto logged into your account. An email confirming account creation will be sent to the email account you specified.
6. After successfully creating an account you will be brought to your profile. At this point it is also highly recommended that you fill in the rest of your information. At anytime you can update your account by clicking "Profile" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
7. Important: If your Texas A&M Co-PI has already started the proposal send them an email asking to be added to the proposal. Make sure to send them the exact name and email address you used to sign-up or it will be difficult for them to find you.
